Klee wasn't in the game when the quest was released iirc. EDIT: She wasn't playable at release. Her story quest was apparently in the game from the start. Kind of like how Albedo was mentioned by name before he released or how we have regions be name dropped but not available (like Chenyu Vale).

40:25 so, Razor does kinda get closure, but it was in the events for the most part, so it's either watch the past events on YT or read the summary for Razor (Of which, i have written one actually). There are multiple characters that have events focused on them to the point they become those characters' pseudo-story quests but, unfortunately we can't replay events (yet at least). Also, Boreas (Andrius) actually kinda important character for history of Mondstadt

I suggest to prioritize samachurls (little hilichurl shamans) when attacking enemy groups. Especially hydro samachurls. They can cast healing spells on their allies (that AoE rain), which drags out fights. Other samachurls can also be annoying because of the spells they cast. Getting rid of them early makes fights easier. They tend to stay outside of the main fight, so singling them out shouldn't be difficult.

The only other time razor was developed as a character was during a limited event where they explained his origins, who are his parents and why they aren't with him, and overall it felt more of a better story quest than this one, but unfortunately its gone since its an event... Many 4 star characters have their better story quests being in limited event, Freminet was with the previous patch (it was actually so depressing, where he was helping a woman who had a mentally ill son but turns out her son was dead the whole time and she was the one who was mentally ill), there was also fishl's event where they went all out, had a whole brand NEW MAP, just for her, it was also emotional and well written and she had so much character development through it

Razor have a Wolf Family and Friends like klee bennet etc. every character wont go with you on your journey because they have Positions/ambition/Purpose they have a life of there own every Vision bearer have a Strong will!. your goal right now is finding your sister your always moving! and its not like we will never see them again there's always event where we can meet them again or invite them on your the teapot home.

I understand where you're coming from, but Razor's story quest ended w/ a literal god telling him he doesn't belong. That combined with the fact you unlock his story quest after Act III (aka right when you depart to Liyue) kind of writes itself. Razor has Klee and Bennett but we don't see that in his quest or even dialogue with him. I just wish Genshin characters had more permanence in the narrative, is all.

@@FeralCabbage Razor has dialog about characters from Mond. and Razor hangout with bennet on the first windbloom event and when we go to GGA razor came with kaeya diluc and albedo to look for klee its sadly a limited time events because if event story is permanent genshin download size would be over 100GB or more! Thats why all festival are limited time even. and they dont focus a lot of attention on 4star characters! especially when your stil playing mondstadt on mondstadt is version 1.0 of genshin.

RAZOR he's my fav character, I've maxed his talents and level and I paid money to get him a good weapon :) I do wish his story quest went further though since it's a very interesting concept that sort of just gets cut short.. like I'd like it if we looked more at the conflict between the Springvale hunters and the wolves, and at Razor struggling with his own identity :( The burny girl he's talking about is Klee! (not a spoiler, it doesn't get revealed unless you play as Razor a bunch and unlock his voice line about her) oh and I'd like to talk about Razor more because I love him: his parents were adventurers who abandoned him for unknown reasons. there was a whole event about him trying to find out who they were (that I missed because I was on break from the game.... kms) he got found by Varka, the grandmaster of the knights, when he was smaller and got taught how to speak and fight with a sword. his first word was canonically friend :) the purple teacher he mentioned is Lisa, she teaches him how to read and write and use his electro vision (their hold skills both make the sky turn different colours, Lisa makes it black since she's more powerful and the razor makes it purple). he's friends with Bennett, and eventually reaches a sort of peace with Draff (they turned up hunting together in an event). he got his vision because one night, he got kidnapped by an abyss mage and forced to watch as some of his wolf pack were killed by it. his ambition to protect his family is what got him the vision, and the wolf in his ultimate and idle animation is sort of the spirits of the lost lupical/his imagination of what they'd be like if they could still help him. Boreas, the boss, was offered the job of anemo archon at one point but turned it down so Venti could take it (that's not about razor but it's funny anyway). Boreas is also technically dead, and that's just his spirit (which makes a weird theme of wolves having spirits that can live on, with Razor's ult and Boreas both being essentially ghost wolves). he's silly I love him

Just a quick tip, when you press the sprint button you can actually dash through most of the attacks in the game without taking damage. Although it can be pretty hard to learn and do consistently.

40:46 I get what you're saying, but it makes sense for Razor to stay in Mondstadt. It's where he's from and he didn't even want to leave Wolvendom to go to the main city within his own nation. Mondstadt is just the starting point and if he doesn't even like being in Mondstadt city, it wouldn't make sense for him to join the traveler's adventure since Mondstadt's city is the smallest. If that city overwhelms him, he'd HATE anywhere else. This especially makes sense for Liyue because it's an especially busy place canonically (but I won't spoil more than that)

the reason "nobody" liked amber is more on her combat prowess her scaling especially her burst is quite high, but due to the nature of "pyro" she cant take full advantage of it here's an example her burst at max level has 900%+ damage scaling which is insanely high even most 5 stars dont have that sadly its distributed into multiple tiny hits, which cant take advantage of pyro's best reaction "Melt/Vaporize" Melt/Vaporize will multiply the damage by certain amount 50%-100% at base level so you would want big d*ck single hit nuke to take full advantage of that multiplier, amber cant do that sadly, fun fact tho amber has the fastest pyro application ingame, (i personally use her on certain sea-unicorn boss who has an insane electro shield, to pretty much break it ASAP) very effective on breaking cryo and electro shields some players can do nuke amber but you need her constellations for it, using double barron bunny also regarding character "permanence"? yea sadly being a gatcha game they need to promote new stuff good or bad this may be, they add characters in an insanely snails pace compared to other gatchas so in lots of events even old characters like amber gets involved in event stories "and for some dumb reason had some amazing story lost through time cause they dont repeat the story of events", event name may repeat like lantern rite, windblume, etc. but the story in it are brand new, making the world feels alive while pissing me off cause i know certain events are amazing storywise and i can only see it through YT coughdragonspinecough

The whole Amber hate train was more of an early phenomenon. These days almost nobody talks about her at all. I never understood this derision - sure, she isn't the biggest powerhouse, but she's a free 4-star character. She does the job. I actually got her to C6. Not for any practical reason - it's just something I wanted to do since I started playing. The only reliable way to do it is to use the Paimon store, because starter characters almost never drop from gacha. In 3 years I only got one copy of Amber from the gacha pulls. BTW I think that her visual design is one of the best in the game. It tells a lot about her as a person. Aviation goggles hint that she uses her wind glider a lot. Lara Croft style shorts and the tool belt with pouches indicate that she often goes adventuring into the wild. Her outfit is both stylish and practical.

Fun fact: the "Black Wolves" did not exist yet in the game when this quest was available from Version 1.0, but after the Inazuma arc got going they did add "Wolves" to Wolvendom (I forget the exact Version #, 2.4 or 2.5 I think). Just start at the Arena there where you fought Andrius (a.k.a. Lupis Boreas) and head North by Northeast (Edit: Correction: just checked my Map, more like due North and a tiny bit west from the Lupus Boreas icon on the map) about 200 meters or so, you'll see 3 Wolves in the area between the Arena and Cecelia Gardens (Mondstat Weapon Mats Domain Northeast of the challenge Arena) Tip: bring a healer, Barbra is good.

At some point in Liyue you get a new gamemode called the sereniteapot. You can place companions like your favorite characters in and get new dialogues and friendship exp. If you want to know more about characters and get interactions I really reccomend investing time into your teapot ^^

Sorry for comment spam (typing as I watch the video). Those fishes at 16: 35 - you can't do anything with them YET. Once you finish the Liyue archon quest and the sidequest that unlocks player housing you'll be able to fish. Yes, there's a fishing minigame in Genshin. You can even obtain unique weapon by exchanging a specific amount of caught fish for them. In Inazuma you can get The Catch (a bident that is classified as a polearm, which is the budget weapon for Raiden, but also works well for Xiangling). In Fontaine - Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (a "sword" that's literally a piece of pipe with valves). in Sumeru you can get End of the Line (a bow that's a fish with a bow string - yeah, those get weird).

For the face cam most people just go with bottom left since it doesn’t really cover anything. In terms of closure and character development and expansion, Genshin tends to come back to stuff years later, a lot of the time in limited events, which is not ideal for newer players but eventually they do seem to intend to get to everything, even the little bits of lore. A recent event was about lore that was in the game since 1.0 so it helps to remember that the game is ongoing and there’s lots of stuff they intend to cover but also a lot of stuff they intend to introduce.

Characters do get referenced well before you meet them. You've already run into two references to characters that weren't playable when those quests released. Also, like with Lisa's Story Quest, this quest also ends up as a possible hint to things that weren't in the game at the time. This time it's the identity of the outsider wolves. They'll actually start spawning after this quest but they weren't in the game for a good year or so. Razor only does more damage because he's geared out a bit better than how your characters are right now. Trial characters often aren't built well so they're usually just average. Boreas _is_ important to the Mondstadt story but only in the lore way. He's got extensive ties to the history of the region. It is a bit annoying that Razor's story quest leaves us hanging but Razor's story is still ongoing iirc. He gets a bit of closure in an event but it's gone now.

Still watching through the vid so not sure if you eventually figured it out - you can still move while Ayato's doing his slashy thing, so if he's facing the wrong direction, just dash around so he's facing all the enemies as opposed to being in the middle of them. The only thing that cancels his slash state (other than running out of skill duration) is switching characters. Just gotta let go of the normal attack button then hold it back down if you want to run around to get a better angle.

I would highly recommend pulling for Yoimiya. She’s on the upcoming banner. She is very similar to Amber both in being pyro bow characters and personality wise. Yoimiya is also so easy and fun to play. And last episode you pulled Rust which is in fact Yoimiya’s best 4* weapon. I just know you would love her since you like Amber so much 😊

15:36 i think the hate of amber mostly is meta wise. She is one of the worst characters for abyss together with xinyan, Dori and an argument can be made for Kaveh, Ningguang and Qiqi. But many are still like: oh yeah amber. Used her a lot in the early game. Premier torch lighter and a personality that is hard to dislike. 99.99% have her benched.

Razor sounds so much cooler in Japanese. Also, not to be that guy, but Rust decreases Amber's charge attack damage (even though the base ATK and substat make it probably preferable to your other 3* bows), so you may wanna normal attack with her more (if you want, it doesn't matter that much in the end)

oh, i see you use Amber most of the time, and i reccomend to not using Rust bow because even though it is 4-star, has high atk and could increase 40 to 80% ATK for normal attack but with 'side effect' decrease 10% for charged attack and Amber mostly will be playing as charged attack. I use Sharpshooter Oath at early game for Amber, it's 3-star but has quite high attack and CRIT damage up to 45% , and increase damage up to 48% when hit weak spot, plus it has no disadvantage side effect like Rust and Slingshot. and for 4-star option i reccomend Prototype Crescent that is free and you can forge yourself

It depend actually. Pressing it immediately deal pure cryo dmg while fully charging it will do physical dmg. If you're fighting a ruin guard which have 70% physical resistance then it's better to press it again immediately

Bro will definitely regret maining amber once he gets to floor 6 of the abyss(not cause that floor hard, but because the enemies will start getting close to his level and the opportunity cost of putting amber of the team will also be more apparent) And also Amber isn't hated, she just sucks. Her dps is lower than Klee's height. And if Feral is reading this, this is why she sucks The cool down on her E skill is longer than Kayea's cok. Her burst though having low energy cost and good scaling has AOE so small that a 400lbs person can jump out of. And another reason she is bad is cause she is a bow user, all bow users have the flaw of needing to charge their attacks to deal elemental damage.And if they miss their attack that's minus ~2 seconds that you are never going to get back. And almost all other bow characters have their ways of getting around them. But amber is not one of them..

No hate but I wish he would just progress faster. He’s been playing for almost half a year and is still like AR 25 and in mondstadt. Mondstadt is already a low quest region. Imagine when he makes it to sumeru with the Aranara quest. Just that quest series is going to take him 2 months to complete probably. At this rate he’s going to reach Fontaine in 5 years. I think he just needs to focus more on building his characters cuz I heard him say he was taking 50 minutes to farm ley lines 😭. Even at low AR your enemies should not be that much stronger than you to the point where you are taking 50 minutes to kill them
