Just picked up the MT27 for my son the other day. TBH, for almost ANY HS kid doing a wood bat tourney the MT27 is the go-to by far. These dudes (Bros) are straight-up dudes so you've got to remember that they are collegiate or MiLB caliber batsmen.

I always watch your videos but sometimes like with wood bats I don't really pay attention to the actual bat as much as just watching you guys hit with it. I would use a 110 turn model right? In all fairness to both bats. Each Bat has its place at the top depending the type of hitter you are.. The old Hickory seems to be easy swinging, durable, contact hitter's bat with great gap power.. The Bat smith seems to be a more power hitter's type of bat. can't go wrong with either. If you had a group of Non Donkey contact hitters. the Old Hickory wins.
