I greet you my new friend .. I admire how you are working on creating this MDF miracle for music thanks and the video is good .. Thank you Gary for sending me here so that I relax a bit. I made from material similar and it is soft and fleecy but after a few layers of applying and peeling, I achieved an amazing result, but this time and labor.

Great job I love those little birds. We have a number of Humming birds that hang around our back yard. This carving reminds me of them. This was very relaxing after a few hours of editing a few videos. Another well done job. Great choice of music. Gary

I am choosing which of the others I use for this Friday. I love them both so maybe flip a coin...lol Wait I am wrong I have one ready for Tuesday morning.... Wow I need to go to bed!

A pleasure to watch for sure. Nice work. Was that a sealer you applied just after you finished sanding?
@StuffUCanMake5 жыл бұрын
Thanks BeerTrain. No, it is ordinary varnish. I just apply liberal amounts until I achieve the best result.

What kind of burrs are you using. Lovely work.

Thanks Diane for the comment. I am using two kinds of tools. The 1st is a Foredom pendant motor and the 2nd is a Dremel flexshaft. The burs I am using are jeweller's burs. I use a straight cutting bur(2.5mm) and a bud bur(4mm). I hope this is helpful.

l dont think it is a dremel flex shaft.

What finishes are you using after carving? I've used both Danish Oil and Shellac and they are not as nice as yours.
