wood turning a craft show project that sold great

This craft show project sold like crazy. I should have brought more. Sold out!
I made this wood turning project as an alternative to tea light holders and they were a hit. I brought 10 and could have sold a bunch more. This youtube woodturning video is woodturning a oil lamp. I used a small glass container for the oil and inserted it into the wood holder. I added burn lines for detail and everyone loved them.

I haven't burned one completely to see how long it lasts. I'll have to try it. There are bottles available the same diameter but longer. They are also available the same size as tea lights.

Nice little project. Thanks for making and sharing the video. This is not really for beginners, I guess. How much do you sell them for? Material costs are next to nothing. But it takes quite a long time to make it, I think.

Thank you! It's pretty beginner friendly. The wood is free. The rest of materials is probably about 75 cents. Takes about 15 minutes. If you prepare and batch them out you can get a lot done in a short amount of time. I sell them for 10 bucks each. But I'm probably under priced. Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it! What do you use to burn the wood - is that just a metal wire? Looks like it has handles on it as if purpose built for that use. Really like the project.
