Dave's style and skill on a skateboard, especially on a mini-ramp have always intrigued me. He seems like he's a very intelligent dude that's maybe a lil' ruff around the edges yet still very classy. Recycling is probably the greatest thing in the world right now and doing it with old skateboards is pure genius and passion combined. Think of all the space in a land fill 1000 skateboards would take up. Now 2000, 3000, 4... It warmed my heart a lil bit to see him wearing the 3M respirator working with all that toxic dust but blew my mind to see him doing it without safety glasses. Dave if you are reading this please extend your skateboarding for many more years my protecting your eyes when using any oscillating tool. Or kicking up that kinda dust even. Shit's toxic ya know? Sorry to sound like your mom bud and rant. But yeah, keep on rockin' and you're one helluva entrepreneur.

Pretty inspiring. I have a bunch of old boards, I wonder what kind of project would be an easy first thing to try and make...

What I want to know is why he skates a 7.5? I mean he rips but how come such a small board?

Jersey Devil he’s been around so long. Tech skaters from 20 years ago usually don’t get over a size 8
@TL-ib7ti

It could have something to do with foot size. Also, a 7.5 is way easier to flip than an 8 or wider. I still don't understand why everyone feels a need for an 8 or larger these days. Maybe something in the peanut butter is jacking kids' feet these days so they NEED larger boards, I dunno

Because back when we were young in the mid 90’s normal decks width was around 7 .5” -7.65” and it was super easy to do flip tricks and a 8” deck was big and usually the very guys would ride them lol
