Your tool safety is giving me fits. Watching you drill the holes for attaching the top and bottom makes my fingers hurt in anticipation of the injury you might sustain if you slip. If I can make a suggestion, drill the holes in the top and bottom, then using a felt tip pen, mark on the sides where you want to put your connecting dowels (bamboo skewers, in this case). Then drill the holes in the sides, where the top and bottom attach, _directly_ and not as a drill-through all the way through the top and down into the side. I say this only because I don't want to see you hurt yourself.
