How do you get the black look like at 8:30?

Good eye, that is a dark walnut stain with black stain mixed to get the correct color. It should be very black but still see the grain.

Hi Mike, any idea what Cal Connell 390 Cadillac's idle rpm's might be and the timing would be. Appears to be a bit of a mystery, I have gotten my engine to idle at 950 rpm but won't idle any lower. Congratulations on the Cobra! Thank you
