Really beautiful design, I love how you shaped the very end of the wand, the pommel, as the twists coming undone into sharp points. The design is very graceful and unique and has a great flow to it. I also carve wands using traditional hand tools from fallen wood, its cool to see someone else using this method!

Amazing, when I grow up I want to be like you. I just started wood working last year making walking sticks, later Wizard Staffs and even a broomstick. This winter I'm making wands so looking at your store, I hope to aspire to your talent. Thank you for sharing.

Such magnificent presentation, capturing the ambience of the Wizarding World perfectly. The wand itself is a marvel to look at. It was as if I watched an Ollivander craft the wand.

Great video, glad to see you back here. I love your old ASMR vids as Whispering Owl, but as you seem to have a new passion you want to share with us, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have now under your new brand. Any chance of you starting an alternate channel to re-upload your old ASMR vids to? I think you did some amazing work and it would be a shame to see it all disappear. I can understand you not wanting to clutter the channel up with old videos no longer relevant to what you're doing now, but I really don't want to see your past work disappear into a dark hole. You ought to be as proud of what you did as Whispering Owl as you obvoiusly are of what you're doing now.

That is an incredible wand you have crafted. That must have taken you months to make. I prefer to make my wands on a lathe and do little carved details on them. I could never carve a wand and get all that smoothness on it. Your wand is fantastic. Bravo.

Well this is really cool and all you should probably check out the one maker on KZbin known as Kivox. And take a couple of tips from him about how to show off the wand at the end of a project as even though this was pretty entertaining one you didn't talk at all and to you didn't give us the beauty shots of the wand.

@thedutchman87935 жыл бұрын
A third of the video is him cutting a log with a hacksaw( wrong saw to use), then he is smack his wood chisels with a steel hammer( not good for the chisels, doesn't know how to use his tools), has to use an excessive amount of force to use chisels by hand and still barely removes any wood( doesn't know how to sharpen/take care of his tools).... Whole video just made me cringe!
@whisperingowlasmr25035 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your advice! Looks like I need to brush up on my tool etiquette
@thedutchman87935 жыл бұрын
@@whisperingowlasmr2503 a wood mallet is best for chisels....you can get yourself a sharpen jig and decent sharpening stone fairly cheap, a sharp chisel should be able to shave the wood by hand when pushing.... Not trying to be an ass( it comes naturally)but it was painful to watch! Your end result was nice though considering.
