When building my small tris I used to glass the inside of my daggerboard and rudder case in glass for better abrasion resistance. Great boat, gives me the hitch to build and sail again

I still prefer my Goat :-) Cartopping is not my cup of tea and if you use a trailer, you get everywhere where you can get with a cartop. But if it fits for you, it's an interesting little shoebox with big performance, good stability and space for 3-5 people. Enjoy :-)

Hi Gerald, Parking space for a car is hard to find on summer around here...car + trailer is near impossible in most venues! I do like the GIS more, performance wise but... The Goose is a lot of fun and Marina just loves the "sunbeds". Also the fact that it holds no water after a capsize is just awesome! and I will be able to sleep aboard too!

@MikStorer we did sail 5 adults, in low wind...although two of the adults weigh less than 55kg each! 😁
