Inrange is a very unique channel. Hardly any other channels want to discuss issues of systemic racism or historical injustices and avoid things like casual sexism, racism, etc. Here it's a lot more accessible to more people that have been ignored or repelled by some other creators
@Beavereaver
@Beavereaver 2 жыл бұрын
Systemic racism means that the system is racist right? If that was the case than we wouldn’t have any minorities in any positions of power anywhere in the country. History is full of injustices; every single tribe in history has wronged another so the notion that this is unique to the United States is outright dishonest. My country was invaded more then a thousand years ago and to this day my people are treated not great but that didn’t stop us from being doctors, lawyers, engineers and scientists.

I think this is a win-win because Russell is an amazing match shooter and that background context makes your collaborations on blackpowder firearms much more interesting. Also, I completely agree with Karl showcasing other people's match videos while focusing on InRange content. I really like all of the different content creators I've seen at Desert, Woodland and Finnish Brutality matches. I want to see more creators highlighted so when the Brutality matches spread far beyond what Karl can attend there are more ambassadors.

Great introduction. Through following InRange I've been introduced to lots of great match content creators. By following them I get more match videos than I can watch and I appreciate Karl doing other things. Russell at Sinistral Rifleman, Bloke on the Range, Ian at Forgotten Weapons and those are just the shooters doesn't even count the history oriented channels.

@AkiSan0

yes, they are gold but highly... "interest specific". Russells robot like character might not be that entertaining for everyone. i think its a decision both Karl and Russel have to make for themselves. do they stick to their own characters (as appreciated by me and other on this channel, though not necessarily prosperous) or do they follow YT trends to get easy bucks ("sellouts"). i think as long as it doenst kill this channel, its a very much welcomed part as with atun and Ian. In Range for me was always a diversity channel that showed different stuff and different creators, as such i think the addition of russell fits perfectly!

@@AkiSan0 sounds like whenever they do match content and karl does weird esoteric shit they'll upload Brussels match review at the very least which is fine. I've always liked PCC's when the power of a rifle (even intermediate) isn't needed. Lots of ammo, mild to non-existent recoil and minimal blast/flash to deal with. The 147's seem to shoot more accurately than the lighter weights and have more momentum for knocking down or spinning targets. Good weapon for the coming Zombie Apocalypse. Just a thought: if searching for interesting content...a comparison of bullet weights in 9mm on the spinner might be enlightening.

@Lucidius134
@Lucidius134 2 жыл бұрын
So long as it doesn't impede follows ups potentially ,but cost per bullet's also gotta be factored in as well as familiarity too. Wouldn't want to to use 10 dollar a bullet ammo when you practise with a cheap 1 dollar a bullet ammo. They would perform differently. IF he needed performance on spinners and poppers he coulda used that seismic high mass 9mm stuff too but yeah, costly and you'd need to practise with it too. 9mm is like the economy class

I can't say for certain, but he might have wanted to use the ANVL mount specifically. I have a T2 on an ANVL, and my mount has to bridge the receiver and handguard to be far enough forward to use the built in BUIS. The ACRO is shorter so you don't end up bridging.
