Hi my friend. Now, I'm not going to pretend that I knew what you were talking about when it came to the camera work etc. Because I don't have a foggiest (pardon the pun 😆) about photography. But what a beautiful place you were in. And with the mist it looked magical 🙂👍

😎👌🏼 hello sir! Yes, even if someone watching isn't into woodland photography at least there's an unusual view of the trees. I do get into some remote spots at times, way off the beaten track, so hopefully it'll be an entertaining watch at time 😉 I'm going to try to avoid photography tutorials & instead, just share my perspective on woodland photography (in the woodland), for those who are challenged by it. Hopefully it helps motivate one or two people to give it a go. It can be such a joy 📷🌳😀🙏🏼

Always enjoy your videos Steve, you have some fantastic ancient trees up in Sherwood Forest. I'm just starting to switch genre and start photographing around my local area of Ashdown Forest. I'm finding it really hard, but your videos provide motivation and inspiration

Thank you for the kind words Julian, sincerely appreciated 👍🏼 Woodland photography is perhaps the most challenging of genres (in general terms). Someone once said to me; 'If you find woodland photography easy, you're doing it wrong.' & I can only agree 😉 It's a constant battle, but get 'that' shot & the buzz lasts for days. I wish you well & I'll certainly be bringing more perspectives soon. ATB my friend, our local woodlands are ALWAYS more than enough 🙏🏼 & Ashdown I hear is stunning.

This is wonderful. Combines two of my favourite things, ancient woodland and Robin Hood. It's so important to save old woodland, which is why HS2 is such a bad idea. I've volunteered with Trees For Life, I grow trees from seed for guerilla gardening. This is so inspiring, photography can be magical. I love telling the Robin hood ballads, which are on my KZbin channel. It's great the way Steve explains about his art. Thank you
