Last June I made 3 different ecosphere's from different sources. 1 was from my local pond that has no drainage really and it's doing wonderfully even now, full of life. 1 from a concrete drain down an alleyway that grows tons of algea and different snail types, it died immediately, went totally green, cleared up and all the algea rested on the bottom, now the water is crystal clear with new types of algea and since a week ago it's BOOMING WITH LIFE OUT OF NOWHERE. AND 3rd was from a river and pawn kind of stopgap and it's full of worms and snails.

I made two ecospheres, one has an isopod and a couple tiny shrimp looking guys that are being sustained by one plant that’s providing oxygen. the other ecosphere is completely dead except for some tiny worms that stick out of the ground and wiggle like those inflatable tube guys at car sales, don’t know how they’re alive because theirs no plants providing oxygen to them, as far as I can tell they’re the only things alive in there. This stuff is rad :D

@@jailee6438 Titan, one of saturns moons is almost entirely composed of ice. There was also a recent discovery of water on the surface of mars. Given the theory that water was first brought here on comets before earth developed its magnetic feild, that would suggest water is all around the depths of space. We just have yet to get to the point where humans can do an in depth study. I mean we have barely even scratched the surface of what lies beneath our oceans. Theres no telling the amount of things we dont know about and just havent found yet Im not trying to be a dick btw lol. I just like discussing these things

A quick questions. How do you store/keep the ecosphere especially the light conditions. I'm moving to a new place in a couple of weeks and I want to start one then with water and plants from the area. I obviously want to do it as good as possible but are pretty much a noob. (suggestions on reads/articles/books are very much welcome)

It's also really not reccomended. Fish eat a lot, and also, uh, shit a lot. They also take a lot more oxygen from the water. So while it is, yes, possible, in order to give even a single fish a full and uncruel existence you would need a massive ecosphere to provide for them.
