It's heartbreaking to know that there are 3 Woods tracks in existence that I may never hear in full.

woods 5 got me through my last break up. First girl i put myself out there for in about 9 years, and after a year of being together she decided she wasn't ready to commit and left. I dont know where I would be mentally without Grey Skies and Electric lights. RIP David Gold

David dying in a car accident, that's lie. He died cause he surpassed levels of awesomeness beyond human imagination. R.I.P. Woods 5: Best album ever.

What an awesome statement to make :) David still lives in our hearts & his music, spent time with this family today & chatting most of the evening & still.

I've been a fan of woods of ypres for around 13 years now, and this video breaks my heart. The fact that there are a small handful of songs that are unreleased, guts me... from what I've heard in this video these songs would've been some of the greatest Woods songs to have ever been released. I miss David. I think about him nearly every day. One of my main influence on writing metal music. *yes, i know that two of the songs in this video were released on the Home EP*

Gold and Violette shared this music with us 13 years ago before David's passing, and they made it with no idea they would be creating one of the most inspiring metal albums of all time. If their path had not been detoured, I personally think they were on their way to metal legend status like Type O, Katatonia, Opeh, Amorphis and and and and. Not saying they don't have legend status now, however I can not even imagine how amazing Woods VI and albums beyond would have been.

I've read online that you may not issue a physical copy of this album. Is this true? I certainly hope not; This sounds even better than W4, and I'm the kind of person who enjoys sitting down with the CD, the lyric booklet, and a good set of headphones. I mean, I suppose I could just burn a copy myself, but it's just not the same, you know? In any case, I'm greatly looking forward to this, and no matter the format, I'll be sure to buy a copy.
