@@mjf2891 football was far more fun to watch. You could actually run the ball and be effective with it and didn't rely too heavily on the pass. You could actually play defense without being flagged constantly for doing your job. You could actually do many things you aren't allowed to do now. Also, players are still getting hurt even with new rules enforced and also players know what they're getting into, so that question should be directed towards the way players get hurt rather than what style of football we got between different times

He was not Optimus Prime. Megatron scored on him a bunch. Same with Tillman. For some reason when Woodson or tillman have a good game with double coverage they "shut down" Calvin even though he was like 24 and Woodson and Tillman were both in their primes. Once Calvin got in his prime he was scoring twice a year with over 100 yards each time...but then Woodson and Tillman were "old".

It’s been so damn long since I watched a packers game and watch the opp qb drop back and throw deep and have real confidence that the defense would shut it down. Pack secondary never fully came back to that form after Woodson left and Collins broke his neck . I miss this squad

Not a single corner id rather have 🤷🏽♂️… comes with everything.. lockdown coverage, insane smarts, tackling, sacks, picks, forced fumbles, deadly return man after the pick/fumble recovery, punt returner.. Play outside.. slot… safety… even LB at times.. the best defender I’ve ever watched.

"in this game" Stafford was a rookie and Megatron was 24. Woodson was in his absolute prime with a pro bowl safety helping him double Calvin. Once Calvin was in his prime Megatron was roasting Woodson even with the double coverage.
