I have done some small hollow pieces using a similar technique, and also some segmented hollow items. Your excellent video has inspired me to do a larger log-sized hollow item. By the way, your video "style" is great! Clear images and narration, and no alloying loud music.

Thanks David, yes it make things much easier than hollowing the piece fully through a small opening.
