I lied on your last video, this.. THIS is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I wish I was in Canada, I would pay everything to be able to come learn from you, and make something like this for the father of my kids. Blue is his favorite color, and he does a lot of woodwork (no wood turning), and I think doing something like this for him for him for his birthday or Father’s Day. Congrats William!!!! I am very envious. What a beautiful well done job and the colors are AMAZING and the grain is magnificent. My father was a master carpenter and I would sit in his work shop watching when he was using his lathe to turn something down for a piece of furniture. I can still smell how he smelled when coming home from working with the wood all day. Ahhhh, what memories and I just turned 76 on the first of this month. I agree, I think the natural wood looks much better when it's allowed to come out in its full luster, rather than hiding behind the translucent epoxy. I love that you'll turn away the parts that are like that so we can see the beautiful grains on your bowls! Bold is better! It is a beautiful rim. It looks like the ocean how the light plays on it!
