Beautiful pen Huw! I, too, always see the imperfections in my work. But many people say the imperfections are what gives it character and show that it is hand made, not mass produced. Glad you're feeling better; don't push it too hard. Wes @ Piedra Designs

Hi Mark Thanks so much. I really like it. The shield is about 9 months old but hasn't been used for well over half that. LOL. It is a Honeywell from Amazon and it has a mist free visor which really works well and is also impact proof. My back is so good at the moment it's hard to remember the constant pain I had for months. Ooh, thumbs up for sure. Nothing I don't like. Funny thing - from the cam lens I think - it has an odd bending and looks triangular at times; cool effect !! Next time use a smaller bit and it would look like a millipede - as it is I kept thinking of a sea snake. Lol ! Take care. -Mike p.s. Thanks Mike. yes it does have a bend in it due to the curved shape of the pen. It it was a straight bodied pen the dovetails would look uniform all the way along. I do have ideas for other versions of this design but still in the thought processing stage. My back is a lot better and getting better every day, I will go back to the Acupuncturist for "Top Up" sessions just to keep things going in the right direction. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
