April fools lol penis
This video was an experiement to see how little effort I can put in a video and still get a lot of views. It seems that it doesn't really mater if what you've made is ugly, stupid and useless, like in this video, as long as it has a good thumbnail and clibaity title, the video will be successful. I guess that's the KZbin algorithm doing it's thing. But It is sometimes very frustrating when I put month of effort into a unique project, only for the video to perform poorly, because I didn't find a good thumbnail.
That's why this video was uploaded on April 1th. It is not to be taken seriously. But if you are new here, I suggest you take a look at my channel, and you will find unique and beautiful project that I'm very proud of, and that you will not find on other channels.

To answer your question, I like good humor. A video like this is good communication with your audience. A short and fun video on this date is absolutely appropriate. Everyone of your videos come up in my feed, and the ones I share is the ones where I become really impressed by your work. I see that you know your stuff, I see that you work impressively accurate, you have good equipment and an understanding for mathematics and patterns and the right way to do things. I think you should do what is fun for you, and not be overly concerned by views and likes. The impressive stuff will shine through for those who know how to see it. Your filming is good, and you put in a humorous point here and there. I like your videos, and look forward to your next big project. You are a good artist.

Bonjour.

This video of turning a piece of wood into a beautiful work of art is absolutely incredible! The skill and precision that went into creating this piece is truly impressive. It's amazing to see how something as simple as a block of wood can be transformed into such a stunning sculpture. The attention to detail and the creativity that went into this project is truly inspiring. It's clear that a lot of time and effort went into making this piece, and the final result is truly breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this amazing woodworking project with us! Don't be discouraged by the algorithm. Take comfort in knowing there are a lot of people who watch evey video you upload. Also, the harder the project, the more you're developing your skillset. I hope you keep pushing your craft more and more, creating beautiful and unique pieces to sell while entertaining us at the same time.

Even with it not being a serious project, in my opinion it looks cool as hell. And that ending - LOL. I watch your videos and have enjoyed the content a lot. I've especially enjoyed your recent works (restoring the lathe, the desk and the Wormhole table). KZbin is strange. Lot of the creators I watch have made mention of the same things with the algorithm. Just keep being you my friend - don't fall into the clickbait and false titles. Too many like that on here as it is. You're great at what you do, let that be what helps you to continue to grow. :)

The videos has some kind of happy ending... Your message about thumbnail/clickbait is very clear. I can imagine that it's frustrating that nonsubscribers are susceptible for nice thumbnails or fancy titles to click on. I, as a subscriber, watch all videos you create about all the projects you create. Keep in mind that a lot of subscribers, maybe all of us, are loyal viewers. Despite of what you make. This vase with an identity crisis or bowl in transition is still a piece of craftsmanship. Keep on your good work!! Greetings from 🇳🇱

I think that, like many craftspeople, you are your own harshest critic. Everything you have ever made and shown on this channel (including this "joke" piece) has been beautiful and made with incredible skill and talent. I realise some pieces take more time and effort from you and it must be frustrating when those videos don't do as well as those of you making pieces you're less proud of. However, none of your work is "bad." I've admired every piece you've ever made, including this one. P.S. the banana made me chuckle, thank you.

Social media is tricky, try to keep it as something fun and do not get trapped in to chasing the number of viewers. I watch because of your name because your past projects have been so impressive. I appreciate your unique projects that is what brings me back. A lot of Creators on Utube and other social media sites quit because it is not fun anymore, try to keep in mind why you started doing it. Is it better to have 1000 viewers who appreciate your work or 10,000 who are just there for the click bait? Thanks for this project and all the others.

Also, you say this piece is not a great one but I think you actually could repurpose this idea/design and make something really cool and more intricate. For example an urn/vase that doubles as a bowl? Would be something neat to put a few fake or dried flowers in while at the same time be a great place to keep something like keys? You are on to something here.
