I found your page by just browsing around and saw your work. I am not sure if you do this full time or a weekend thing. All I can say is you have brought wood work back into my dreams. Memories of woodwork in school and how much I used to enjoy it. I loved working with maple and satin walnut, mahogany Oak and cedar. It seemed I looked at the wood differently. watching the grain come to life when you added stains. I have been wondering what I would do with myself in my later years and I believe you have opened my eyes again to the fascination of working with wood. Im lucky enough to live on the west coast of Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. I have many choices of wood to choose from. Love the work you do. I am very much enjoying sitting in front of my fire with a coffee loving the work you do and dreaming of getting back into working with wood.. Cheers

Such a great comment, Rex! If I played a part in reigniting your passion for woodworking, then I'm truly grateful and happy for you! Follow that dream!

@@RHumphrey I completely agree with this sentiment. I just got back into woodworking after about 25 years away and picked up pen turning about a year ago. Now I'm starting to branch out, and your videos are very well done. I've learned a few things already and I'm really starting to hate my day job that's keeping me out of my garage.

Absolutely stunning! Have always loved the smell, feel, warmth and “personality” of wood. I am the weird old lady often seen roaming lumber yards inhaling deeply and touching the wood lovingly! Am recovering from cancer, and of course holed up due to Covid social distancing, and your beautiful work is giving me so much pleasure. Have never done any wood turning, just small projects, but your vids have turned into a spectator sport!! Thank you for sharing with us! Keep on turning, turning, turning!!🎵🎵

Michaelangelo’s “David” was present even before he began to carve. Your initial confidence in the beauty of the wood before you even turned it reminded me of the “David.” The Psalmist says “God knew us even before we were born.” Thank you for letting us see the art present and then come alive! It is a magnificent work! Just imagine how joyful God sees us as we are obedient in loving!
