Woodturning - Black Palmwood

Backflow burner made from a piece of Black Palmwood and some left over spalted oak from another project. Not the initial design I had planned for as there was a little incident..I will however do the other design at a later date.

Well Matt, that's a very nice piece! It took till the end to know just what you were going to do with a flat-topped saucer, but I like the results. Black palm is beautiful and a royal pain to work with.

I tried something similar before, but it didn't work so well because I didn't put the airflow hole at the bottom. Thanks for the tip. Great video, can't wait to see the originally planned project.

the eyes on the vacuum bothers me. I have the same vac at home for nearly a year now and it still bothers me. Other than that I find your woodturning videos to be relaxing and amazing. Im thinking of taking up wood turning when i live off penchant. Keep up the creative works!
