A very beautiful product!!! Even the bug holes are interesting! You will be processing a large stock of wood for a long time. Good luck!

Thank you Ivan, most of that wood will become firewood. I try to find interesting pieces of wood. Im fortunate that I have a lot to look through. Thank you for watching my videos.

Wooden handles would be less cold on your hands, but then you couldn’t heat them as a hand warmer. Great bowl though ❤
@darrenswoodworks8695 Жыл бұрын
Thank you Philomena, that is true, I like the heavy weight of the aluminum handle for roughing out a big piece of wood. It helps thought out some of the jarring my hands get.

Is your wood pile big enough Darren? 😂😂 Nice job on the hollow form. Love the crazy grain the oak has! What was your finish? Stuart
@darrenswoodworks8695 Жыл бұрын
Hey Stuart, that was only one of the firewood piles. There was 3 more you didn’t see. As for the finish, I put danish oil on it. And after I did that I was wishing I tried something different. I have a plan on a new finish I’m hopeful to work on in the near future. My concern with the danish oil is it won’t let me use an epoxy finish if I want to do that. Just something I thinking about. Thanks Stuart.

Thank you LK, I like the weight of the aluminum, and once they are warm it lasts for hours.
