Glen I have been contemplating turning some pendants for local markets, but the time and effort of 2 sided tape, jam chucks, and hot glue had me in retreat. After watching your 4 piece elastic support jigs, I am in the process of building myself a couple.. Thank you & Lisa for your videos. Have an amazing and blessed new year. From Edson Alberta Canada..

As far as I can tell, your carbide tools are the only ones designed to be used as "cutters" instead of "scrapers." Achieving that type of finish with 99% of the carbide tools on the market will be nearly impossible
@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308Күн бұрын
My answer to that would have to be yes, due to the fact that every other carbide manufacturer design and call their carbide tools scrapers. Whether any of them could be used the same, I wouldn't honestly know s I have never used anyone else's carbides. When I first started making my carbide tools over 20 years ago, there were hardly, if any, here to buy in the UK. TEMU didn't exist. Amazon didn't sell any. There was no cheap Chinese carbide tools available at all herein the UK. My carbide chisels as I like to call them, are made and designed to do everything a traditional tool can do and more.
