Good looking pens. Nice way to change up everyday blanks.

@DougMilleratWoodSpunRound thank you! If you don't have highly figured wood, this is a nice way to make things visually pop.

Nice work! I like your case, very professional.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time on the CAD work for the case and made several prototypes before I settled on this design.

I've always been interested, but it seems like it needs a LOT of specialized tools and equipment, not to mention skill and imagination.

@JoAnnGlaessgen is not that bad. In the last year, I added some things that made life easier, like the press and drilling clamp. You could start pen making with a lot less stuff than I have. They make small lathe just for these kinds of small projects

Lookin good Jim. Did you also make the box?
@FRBPturning4 ай бұрын
Thanks Alan! I did make the box on my CNC router. I may do some videos on that in the future, but I haven't done it yet. I would need some cool footage with the dust collection boot removed and I haven't been able to get motivated for the mess that will result in... I sell double and single pen cases on my website and I'm thinking of selling the design files in addition to the physical product.

@@FRBPturning I’d like to send you a picture of the pen and rollerball’s that I made for one of my daughters along with the case, all made out of cocobola?

You can send it to my email: Jimclark@fiveringsbespokeproducts.com I'd like to see it!
