This was a very enjoyable video William. I learned a few things that I never thought of before. Like leaving a tenon on the inside after 1st turn great idea I never thought of. Also coming back along the outside with the bevel feeling for the beginning of the wall. I thought that was a good idea also. Thank you for sharing. I hope to see you on the next one

William what an excellent job mate the Maple bowl turned out really nice, Bet your glad you left a good bit of meat on the bowl as you had a fair bit of trimming to do, to true her up. Well done.

Lovely piece William and you did a nice job repairing the crack. I was afraid it would explode while turning but it didn’t. 👏👏

@@William_Kenny I’m in the UK. I got some Norway Maple about 3 years ago. Beautiful but I had quite a few cracks. Wish I’d asked for more as it was going to be burnt. I get jealous of the Canadians with their maple and walnut but we have the beautiful spalted beech and yew that they have less chance of getting.

Maple is really nice to work with. Beautiful bowl🤓 I bought one of those curved tool rests to get closer to the inside. Works well. Have u tried one of those?
