Woodturning - Oak Log Used After 15 Years Sitting In The Shed!

Welcome back to Ian Mac Woodturning, In this weeks video I turned a lump of Oak that had been sitting in a friends garage for 15+ years, it had some lovely Burl inside which added to the look!

Ian firstly I had to laugh at the start the worm screw put you under a bit of strain. Got to admit I really like Oak but very prone to cracks when really dry. Well done.

Haha it did take a little bit of work there! I like the look of Oak but you're right, it's very frustrating how prone it is to cracking.
