Sadly Warco recommends no wood turning in their Super Mini Lathe. The fine dust will invade the motor, electronics..... Wood turning was fun during the school time.

When i bought my Myford S7 it was covered in saw dust. The previous owner was running a wood shop and was using the lathe for whatever wood turning jobs he had.. the sawdust was everywhere including the quick change gearbox, headstock and even inside of the apron... I have never turned any wood on the Myford, just dont like the mess

Hi, I just use it now and again for woodturning, but I thoughroughly clean by the vaccum afterwards. I just get on and use it for whatever. Regards Steve

Not many do, I think. But Ray Mears has a hobo handline, which he shows how to use in one of his survival books 📚 🤔 Regards Steve.

Yes, I did learn it from others. I use ordinary galvanised wire for thick lines and stainless steel wire for very thin lines. Regards Steve
