Woodturning Project #44 - How to Turn a Simple Bowl

Woodturning the Bradford Carbide. Enjoy this relaxing wood turning project and zone out for a few minutes. Nothing too fancy, just simple soothing woodworking.

Back on the lathe after a two year break from all woodworking projects. I thought the best place would be to start with a small piece of bradford pear tree wood from the wood pile. The ends are painted with latex paint to seal them to prevent cracking by slowing the drying process.
The lathe still needs some more cleaning, as you can tell from the belt noises! It feels great to be back wood working again and I'll try to post regular videos of my relearning process.
