No bubbles in snow. And that doesn't look very snowlike. Maybe use some fake snow, or experiment with potato flakes run through a food processor to make it finer - they use potato flakes to simulate snow on movie and show sets.

Merry Christmas sir!!! Just a suggestion on sanding, go to an autobody supply store and get sanding sponges called Abralon, They come in grits from 220 up to 4000 or 6000 I think, they are great. I use them wet, with just a squirt bottle and they are reusable, just take them to the sink and rinse them out. I use Meguires Auto compounds after to buff, but I'm sure your pastes will work fine.

I likewise use them but from 1500 - 5000 for polishing blades. Though whether car body polish is as good as good old "YORKSHIRE" grit I dunno

As I understand it, the trick to avoiding a seem line between pours is to not let the previous pour fully cure. Doing this should allow the newer pour to better bond to the previous one.

Yep, there is usually a recommendation from the manufacturer on repour time while the epoxy is still "jelly" if not you have sand before applying the next pour to give the surface some texture to adhere too

Had an idea pop in my head while watching you make this. After your white pour you could have mixed a bunch of white glitter with a little resin so it clumps like beach sand and put that down to hold the pieces in place in a bed of fluffy snow. What do you think?

Happy Christmas Nick and the Family. The best way to keep Legos from floating is to get some bird shot/small lead bits and put them in some of the legos befor stacking them. Like for Rudolf put a BB in each foot and use a drop or two of superglue to hold them in. The same can be done with any that have a center tube on yhe underside, AKA a 4 peg brick or larger or if you have singlr or double peg bricks at the bottom you can put BBs or bird shot in yhem and use superglue to keep them in place. Also a good idea is to drill small holes in the tops of each brick to allow the air to escape and the resin can fill in the bricks. Also have you ever thought of a vibration table to agitate the resin to help it bring air bubbles to the surface?
