Probably my favorite bowl of yours so far, but I am biased towards purple!

Beautiful work, where did you get that plastic sheeting from?

Id love to see one that looks like a shattered wooden bowl that's glued back together with resin. Or maybe a lightning strike design.

That's actually been on my list for quite some time! Just haven't figured out yet how to rip a bowl in half, lol!

Take your blank outside and chop it up with an axe. You’d have to take out several pieces of wood to get the epoxy to be more than a sliver though. Kintsugi but with wood.

Maybe take a regular bowl of same size, break it, trace it on wooden one then carve wider cracks.

@@SimonGould1024 Great idea! Might have to give that a go!

Would you consider adding a link for the plastic that you use. I think it's hdpe type but not sure. As a fellow Wood Turner I'm interested in that type of plastic for some projects.

I'm curious why you say Waterlox is not a food safe finish, on their website they state it is...??

Hi, I have a question regarding the types of epoxies used in your works. Are they safe for putting edibles in your bowls? I mean can we use them for keeping food and other consumables, liquids and solids alike? Thanks so much. Anticipating your reply.👍

It scares me when you reach in to clear shavings away. I've seen degloved hands before. I don't want that to happen to you. :(
