Save wear and tear if you cut 45° off your corners. Less chance of chipping and the cut corners gives you more funky stuff to put in other projects

That does look really funky! Maybe try again except after the first pour, turn the set up upside down and add the second pour to what was the bottom of the first pour. That way, you'll have a higher concentration of unicorn guts (together from both pours) near the center of the sphere. I missed where you said the confetti wasn't made of real unicorns. I tried to make one the hard way--with a real unicorn pelt and a paper punch. It's just not as nice. Happy Holidays!

Hey Nick, turned out nice ! Yet, just an idea - could you not have cut this peace where the "line" was, sanded the two sides that were on the top while the resin was curing, and then put them together with a bit of resin between them, and then turn it? That should give it the even distribution you were looking for, shouldn't it?

If you did the 1st pour and flipped it over in the mold then added the 2nd pour, the two 1/2s would thin out to the ends.

Id have just cut the block in half. Removed the line and used enough resin or epoxy to "glue" them back together.
