First and foremost, I think the team needs to work on their starting 5. Who is the point guard? Is Cade the 1 or 2. If Cade is the 1, Ivy needs to come off the bench and we need a pure shooting guard who can defend as well. Our 3 as Ausar is not good enough because he can't shoot. Our 4 needs to be able to stretch the floor and get busy in the paint with our 5. They need to look at the past in how we won. It's still the formula

I'd rather the Pistons trade Ausar. It's easier to find another Ausar who is a wing defender than it is to get a star/all star guard to pair with Cade. Derrick Jones Jr is a perfect example or Kelly Oubre. This past year DIDN'T give me any comfortability in who Ausar is as a player. Right now he plays like Diallo. He is someone who you can't trust on the perimeter who thrives in the paint. Pairing Ausar with Cade/Ivey/Duren is a NIGHTMARE....... I'd trade Ausar/Wiseman or Stew and 5 to the Pels and get Ingram + their lottery pick. Ingram and Fonte would be enough Imo at forward to make this team competitive.

Ku is part of the vast opinion media thus he gives an informed opinion. Personally I think Cade needs a player like Ivey to help do PG stuff. But I have doubts about Cade wanting to make things work with Ivey. Cade plays like an All Star who hasn't learned how to win. Hopefully he eventually learns to elevate his teammates and sacrifice personal glory for Championships.
