I love your very practical approach and the clever detailing on the undercuts - rather a shame to paint it when the grain comes up so well. Do you like that dowel jig, I've considered it but would value your honest opinion.

Very nice shame it’s being painted. If it wasn’t being painted ,a few more dowels in the ladybird would make its spots show up good 👏👏👏👏
