the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. kzbin.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. If you can't afford the tools go buy the crap they sell at Home Depot or Lowes. Stop complaining about the price of tools; I get so tired of hearing the complaints as if they equipment should be free.

I don't understand what you're saying. You could build this project with less than $250 worth of tools: - cheap/used table saw - cheap/used router - DIY router table - router bits (only $20!) - clamps - sand paper With only basic skills you only need a table saw bringing the tools cost down to $150 or less if you're thrifty.

I appreciate deeply your reminder about "BE SAFE". It is very important professionals keep pushing this idea, to lead a solid, consistent change in our approach to woodworking. Beginners look these videos and it's a key moment to decide which habits to take: if fast & furious or proper & safe. Those habits will stay potentially forever. There are still lots of experienced workers around cheating with safety… and accidents keep on happening.

Sir great video thank you. Something I learned years ago , when making cabinets and doors I mount 2 routers in my router table. The rail and stile bits don't need to be moved untill the doors are completed. It saves a lot of resetting of the routers. A shaker door has no raised panel but those can be cut on the table saw. I use two 3.1/4 horse Fraud routers. If you only have one then rent one for a weekend once they are matched up it lets you recut a pease. Fences between the bits. You must cut from oppiset sides of the table of cource.

Hey Wes, I love your channel and learned a lot about how to make my projects with some basic skills. In this video you recommended a set of Shaker style and rail cutters available on Amazon. Great teacher !!!!! When u was rounding off the panel I noticed how the work got hung up on the opening of the port because of the sharp edge. If you round that edge off I believe the work / panel will not get hung up on that sharp 90 degree edge. I have replaced window stops on old renovations & I use to not round off the edges where the windows meet the stop….then I noticed the original stops are slightly rounded & it makes a huge difference….I’m a subscriber now!!!!
