@MedusaEcho2 жыл бұрын
Why do you think he’s underrated? Because crazy people doesn’t scream after him on a street or because tabloids don’t talk about his private life? I believe that he’s one of the most respected Hollywood actors, has been in some of the best movies, keeps working and getting good roles and on top of all that he’s managing to stay out of the crap. I rate that very highly. An actor doesn’t have to be a guest on every daytime show, give interviews every week or be talked beyond his acting role. Perhaps he’s not considered as someone who fits into this celebrity mania where we end up learning more about their drinking habits, try to guess what kind of a partner he is or we start referring to him as if he’s our mate simply because we identify him with the characters he plays? I think that Woody is one smart guy who’s done quite well for himself. Just because he doesn’t have a security team, personal medics or someone to help him dress up is exactly what I rate highly in a professional actor who’s doing his job. When are we going to start rating higher our teachers, doctors or firefighters?

I liked the magazine "Breathe" that he was on the cover of (a short-lived yoga-leaning publication). And also Go Further. Woody is an inspiration. But his system is probably sensitive to cooked food (like mine too) so the damage is exponential when not "raw". I thought Sammy Hagar looked damn young too in one of the last podcasts, for 74!

@@j.cassavoy4661 I did not know that. I have considered becoming a vegan. I noticed a big change after I quit eating fast food. The other day my little brother dropped some off some fast food and for the first time in a couple of months I ate some,man I felt sluggish after I ate it. Twice felt like that. He is a smart man. What a treat this podcast was... Woody Has alway been a fav of mine. Starting with watching Cheers as a kid...something about him is warm and inviting.. this podcast really shows why people wanna be around the dude. Chill, happy, loves the arts and has a common sense about him, which unfortunately, seems rare today.

A valuable lesson in conversation. (Conversing is listening to each other, calling each other out, and still enjoying each others' company and opinions... it was the norm a decade or two ago).
@snuugumz2 жыл бұрын
Lee Jones your comment resurrected a memory of a conversation i tried to have with a man who was unfamiliar with the concept. I tried to explain that 2 or more people take turns talking in conversation. What he was doing was lecturing, which would be fine if i was attending a class. And if he wasn’t an insufferable knuckle dragging twat.

I don't disagree with you on this podcast being entertaining and in this case funny, but imo that's not always the case. The ppl he has asked so far, esp that British pompous masogenist Piers Morgan, others were less interesting, weird enough his much younger female guests, like Nikki Glazer, which I thought was boring and she tried way too hard, complementing him, stroking his ego and not just by her either. But I love some of them, depending on the guest.

It's beyond me, with the kind of money these two have, that they feel the need to share the dirty saliva of each other with the same cigarette(not to mention the Covid situation). Can't they have their own cigarette? Or is it still too expensive for them to do that? Or maybe they haven't realized that they are doing it and is just an old unconscious habit they have from when they were young and broke and had to share the only cigarette they had with their partner. Multimillionare, Joe Rogan, does the same thing with his guests, for some odd reason(strange).
