I never get tired of watching this film! I was 22 when I saw it for the first time in the movie theater. Born and raised in Brooklyn and I ❤NY!

Woody's best film and one of my five all-time favorites. Only surprise here is that Jack was considered for Elliot.

One of my favorites films ever. I love Allen ' s character obsesive search of a "suitable" religion , funny and very profound. There are many examples of Allen s movies being inspired by the greatest russian writers such The last night of Boris... or Sins and Misdemeanours but honestly I had not noticed the resemblance to Anna Karenina. Interesting.

This is the second video i've watched of yours. I have to say you don't go into enough detail and I feel you should elaborate further regarding the list of things you mentioned.

Also this film in many ways is a nod to Ingmar Bergman’s “Fanny and Alexander”

I wish Jack Nicholson would have made the film in stead of that opportunistic hypocrite loser Caine. Pity! #WeLoveWoodyAllen

"Hannah And Her Sisters" is a flawless, and beautiful film. Michael Caine is great in it, but it would be so fun to see Jack play the Elliot role.

The character somehow makes more sense to me with Jack Nicholson in mind
