great vid, already got the bhaptics vest for games and I was thinking about buying one of these for outdoor activities like music. Is the rattle really loud ? would love to improve my music in the bus but I don't want to look like a weirdo

I appreciate you watching! Honestly it's not terrible and you could def make adjustments that would eliminate that rattle. As far as music goes its pretty great, I just had to contrast it against my VR usage for the channel.

Hi nice review, the Woojer indeed is not meant to be used with BT for games, there's an inherent latency the moment you go BT

Thank you for your feedback and for watching! Seeing them market it towards gamers seemed a bit misleading to me. Having wires involved make it far less convenient/comfortable. To me this device is strictly for music and that's about it. I felt like potential customers should know the truth (as I see it, anyway).

Of course, I must say though that I play almost solely wired (mouse, audio in.out and Woojer when I use it) though I am a PC gamer so it doesn't bother me at all. Lets hope they get a BT/LL AptX/LL versions in the near future

Couldn't agree more. Being a new VR channel I thought it was an interesting topic, haptics are quite effective in VR. Also being self sponsored, this strap seemed to be a cost effective way to test the tech before buying a vest. Was going to get one soon but after making this video I'm not nearly as eager. Being a VR user I mostly use corded setups as well, just can't beat the performance (especially in comp games). Maybe they could develop a USB fob option? That could be cool, when I do use wireless devices they give me fast better performance as opposed to anything BT.

Been looking into this just to add a little something when playing PC games. Would you say it's worth using when wired? At this point there isn't much I can add to my setup XD

I mean maybe for desktop games, it might be okay, but I feel like its a bit of hazard playing with 2 wires running to/from it in VR. Its much more manageable in a desktop setting but keep in mind it's just reacting to low frequency bass noise.

They do offer that thru their native app but it doesn't prevent it when gaming and using it wirelessly. Unless there's been some sort of update since I made this video.

I’m not super familiar with the edge but I would imagine that it would have similar performance. For me, that latent sound is a real deal breaker.

I like the actual Woojer but the cheap strap it comes with is AWFUL!! IT’S very confusing and slips off when I’m playing it.

This is something I've thought about several times since I made this video. Maybe a modified strap could enhance its functionality? It's a powerful little transducer. But I completely agree with you!

@@newlevelvr I even look on videos on here and they don’t really show you how to tighten it…also it wasn’t cheap but then they decided to make an awful cheap strap….lol…I was using a chip clip to keep it in place! 😂

There’s definitely room for improvement. I can only imagine what kind of issues women could have with this single strap! 😅 That single cheap strap definitely is a major drawback. It’s the biggest reason I haven’t continued to use it while listening to music. It’s just not comfortable and I question the durability long term. I’m not aware of any replacement options?
