Just to correct Woolie on the whole Orochi thing: Like the Japanese myth, Orochi is represented by eight agents, four majors and four minors. They are: Majors: Goenitz, Chris, Shermie, Yashiro Minors: Vice, Mature, Yamazaki and Leona's dad The new face team doesn't go into Riot of Blood mode, rather they are disguised as regular fighters, the Orochi version are the real ones. Yamazaki indeed doesn't care much about the whole Orochi shit despite everything. He's also the only one who survived the original Orochi saga (before death stopped meaning anything in the series) As for people like Iori and Leona, they have Orochi's blood in their veins but aren't Orochi agents. Leona is the daughter of one agent which gave her the blood while the Yagami clan splitter from the Kusanagi clan after they made a pact with Orochi, hence the purple flames.

i still think the game is a good start to get in to this series. mostly due to them seemingly realizing not everybody can do pretzel motions on command and consistently for supers with such small 1-2 frame windows for input. what i wasnt expecting was for everybody to have essentially the same inputs for their supers. now if only Arcana Heart would do the same or at least balance the inputs for humans on a controller and not for insane people with an arcade stick.

Ralf had his own version of Clark backbreaker, same with Clark having Ralf's punches. It was to show that they teach then their moves moves to the other one (but the recreations are worse than the originals). I guess they took it out to make them more different
