I’m knitting a pair of socks (one at a time) for my grown up son for Christmas. It’s the first pair of socks that I’ve knit him (although I’m a big sock knitter). I always thought that he wouldn’t like them, but he turns out that he’s looking forward to wearing them!

Jana-- I’m knitting the same as you-- what a color fest !!!!! I already finished Arne and Carlos Christmas Advent Stocking and a pair of Wollens and Nosh socks for my husband. He loves them and they’re as much of a color fest as our socks. Go Michele !!!!!

The Moonshine and Variorim look great together, cant wait for an update on the knit. On My needles is another 2024 Christmas Stocking from Arne & Carlos. This will be the 3rd one and this time I have change it to 3 shades of Blue in 4ply Acrylic (the yardage per ball places it between Sport and Fingering in US speak - i found a conversion chart so I could figure out what you guys are talking about when referring to different yarn weights).

We had family Christmas last weekend. Sons are 4 and 7 hours away. I can just relax now and enjoy quiet time to knit. We will go to Chinese restaurant on Christmas day.

Also loving the board game suggestions... this is our favorite "bring people together" activity. Our go tos are Taboo, Catan and Pandemic. My son loves cribbage ans has been "skunking" me since he could count to 15. On the needles I have the SHB mystery and the Dustland Blanket. Having so few wips has me thinking I should cast something(s) on...🤔 Thank you both for being the highlight to my day.❤

I'm knitting along on my Woolens and Nosh socks. I knit ahead to catch up with Jana. Her Day 18 is my day 21. I like to knit along while watching the beginning of the episode, then if I haven't revealed my colour by the time Jana shows her's I pause the episode, LOL. I also got Emma's yarn advent. I'm knitting Briochex with that, though I'm still on Hexagon 1. That's all my current knits. :)

I'm knitting a second Shiftigan by Andrea Mowry. The first one was for my oldest daughter, and now my youngest wants one. This one is knit in Mountain Medow Wool Cody in the color Fern. Only using one contrast color and that's Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool in the color Summer Love. I'm also working on the Voyage Hat by Wool & Pine. It has constantly changing colors, so I'm using a lot of leftover stash yarns that are fingering weight. It's a lot of fun to knit.

I finished a pair of socks already this month, finished one sock of the next pair and I'm still working on a cross stitching project of 65000 stitches (which is gonna take me years to finish, im only at like 15%)
