That was the most creative speech i've heard so far. How you compared your eating and life.. i remember one of our mentor he told us "treat life as a buffet.. get little of everything..and you'll end up finishing everything and being satisfied" It's my Gradutaion on March 25 and this made me more excited. hehe.. Great speech. I graduated in 2007 from Wootton babyyyy!! You know, I find it amusing cause we are posting comments and most of us graduated or will or are atending Wootton and we don't know who is writing what here, yet we might know one another in real life!! I just think that's cool, but I wish I knew who is posting which comments...lol. I know, I'm nosy like that...lol.

I love it. At my graduation, they all gave self-serving speeches that annoyed everyone. I was tempted not to bother going, but my father wouldn't hear of it. When it was over, my father did nothing but complain about the speeches.

this was my high school graduation; our 4 class officers make speeches at the commencement ceremony (Pres, VP, Secretary, and Treasurer) For anyone who knows Sam, this is completely in character for him-it was the highlight of the day's events and our friends are all still talking about it *for the record, we DO still meet up at chipotle on school breaks for reunions ;-) *

Unpredictable speeches are the best route. My favorite speech was from someone at our school a few years back who started his speech with a big introduction like this and then the words: "Yo momma is so fat she puts lipstick on with a paint roller." It was hilarious and it was all about being prepared for the unexpected.
