Kenny, today's Connections was HARD. You should pat yourself on the back for getting that, despite not knowing what oeuvre meant (it's usually used to refer to someone's body of work). And I totally agree, ruby slippers is a bizarre spangram, it should have been Wizard of Oz. But just FYI, when something is described as a pet, we usually mean, you know, someone's pet. :) In this case, Major and Commander are the president's German Shepherds.

I barely got both the green and purple categories today in connections, I know how the yellow and blue categories are connected but I don't think I would have ever guessed the category itself based on the words.

Might be a bit of a stretch, but I think it could be a visual representation of the ruby slippers walking the yellow brick road since the spangram literally looks like a yellow brick road.

LP is a record, an album-stands for Long Playing. So a record was called an album and/or a LP.

I didnt get a single category for connections today! I was so sure a category would have been types of tattoos, or one that was brands for cameras, and i could only get 3 mountains since im so bad a geography

I think Left to Right are the easiest words to find, then Top to Bottom, because those are two orientations we're used to seeing words naturally. Top to Bottom is much more rare, so reversing it to Bottom to Top is actually easier than Right to Left, which is the hardest simple orientation. (Of course, Strands can go diagonal and double back and make twists and turns so those would be harder)

The yellow category was so hard for me today, but got the others SFO is the San Francisco airport, their train is called the Bart. Commander and Major are the names of Biden’s dogs

You have been solving some tough Connections games. Good job, Kenny! Let's just say that I have strengths and it is NOT playing Connections. 😂 I was fine in Wordle and Strands.

You should be proud! Fuji, canon, olympus, and polaroid are, in fact, all camera companies, and that was a nasty red herring today. Mt. Whitney is a dormant volcano in California. Its famous for blowing its top in the 80's. I didn't think Mt. Olympus was a real place. I thought it was just the fictional home of the greek gods. But now I'm not so sure and feel like I need to go look it up. You say that records aren't your generation, but aren't you a millennial? Us millennials are the ones who basically revived records from going extinct. Except, I'm not really into records either. Haha! You were so close on the mini! Everything you put in was correct too! I also struggled with "ivies." SFO is San Francisco airport, and BART is their regional transportation system. It stands for Bay Area Regional Transit. Kind of a rough clue for anyone not from Northern California. I do live in Northern California but I couldn't remember the abbreviation for San Fran Air Port, so even though I knew what the clue was looking for, it didn't help me! Lol. I also have no idea what pet is referring to on 4 down. Are those maybe the names of his pets? You're right that the spangram today was just like another "theme word." Although it is probably the most iconic thing from the wizard of oz. In the wizard of oz, as the foursome approaches the emerald city where the wizard is so that Dorothy can go home, they come across a field of poppies that the wicked witch spelled to make them fall asleep. And rainbow, I believe, is referring to the famous song from this movie: "Somewhere over the Rainbow." I think you did good today, Kenny. I think you're too hard on yourself. Looking forward to tomorrow video! ❤

you're right! Mt. Olympus is the home of the gods in Greek Mythology, but TIL that it's a real mountain in Greece 😲
