I've had multiple physicians that I had to quit going to because they kept making ridiculous mistakes and had elephant egos. I had to cure my own GERD after 15 years and multiple doctors. I've had multiple prescriptions I didn't need for things the doctors were guessing at. Have you been to college lately. It seems much less about education and much more about indoctrination! You're right. Conflicting information is EVERYWHERE, and it doesn't seem to be by accident when you factor in the big picture of what's happening around the world. Yeah, you have to be your own researcher and intelligence officer. WAY too much corruption going on. I don't trust any of them at face value. I take all of them as opinions. I have to see studies, and even studies have to be analyzed for statistical bias and methodology because they're often used for profit rather than actual science. "Trust ye not in princes." - Psalms

Hot water is okay, but taking glutamine in the morning is still working against your body's natural circadian rhythm. That can create a LOT of problems down the road. This video will help you figure out where your chemistry is now, but when we supplement with glutamine, it should still be later in the day, when we're supposed to be more anabolic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJm8mYholLGGnK8 Hope that helps.

Alrighty then! I thought I had leaky gut and I had diarrhea that went on for more than a year. I took l-glutamine to help my leaky gut. When the diarrhea stopped I guess I should've stopped taking it but I didn't. It's been a year or more since my lower digestion got better but I didn't stop the l- glut. I now have almost constant indigestion, slight constipation, but the worst is if I eat more than a child's portion of food I vomit, after which I feel fine. I have stopped now and am hoping that corrects that problem. In fact, I'm going to rethink every supplement that I take! Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something❣✌👏

Hmmm… I think it’s wise to discuss this w/ Dr or nutritionist first. I had a consult w/ nutritionist at a holistic compounding pharmacy bcz I’ve neurogenic Bladder/Bowel; nerves aren’t working enough for me to go on my own. It’s neurological condition which has left me w/ a feeding tube; also have adhesions from multiple abdominal surgeries which only exasperate these issues. Nutritionist deferred me back to G.I. specialist; stating my case was too unique & too risky. + several of my specialist told me not to take any supplements due to risk of cross contamination as many of them are not FDA approved nor do they go through any kind of certified testing for gluten; which is the offender in wheat, barley, & rye. Using Catheters to urinate also deep tissue massage to help move things along in the abdomen. It’s not pleasant but it’s better than nothing. However, since adding trace minerals to include magnesium, it has made it easier to go to the bathroom. I sleep 6-8 hrs a night & get a nap during the day due to low energy just from the frequency of use of feeding tube & volume amount limits. Which means I’m hooked up to a pump a lot & still don’t get enough to maintain & sustain energy. I’m blending my own formulas using real food; organic/non-GMO. I should also mention I have celiac disease which just complicates things even more. It’s what got me in the situation to begin with. So I’m leery of anything new; especially just a little whip of information in 11 minute video. My advice would be to stay away from processed foods, eat out less, eat more real foods & make the time to cook your own meals. Your gut will thank you for it. Then you might not need to take so many dang supplements for this, that & the other to feel normal again. Idk who this person really is or what their credentials are…be careful, research your own info, & think critically for yourself. 😉

Wouldn't taking proline and glycine also help repair the gut lining? I would imagine collagen forming aminos would help to. Glycine is the most abundant in collagen. Proline and hydroxyproline are good amount too. Proline gets converted to hydroxyproline in the liver with vitamin c. I'm someone who extremely can't digest protein because of hydrogen2sulfide sibo. So my guess is to improve nitric oxide production, increase collagen turnover with aminos and all minerals and vitamin c that helps with making collagen. Also taking choline, zinc, and glycine to help stomach acid and bile as well as drinking lemon or lime juice to help with pH. Not sure if I'm missing anything

Yeah, that is what I meant. I have a lot of things I use an alternatives to glutamine, but which one I use depends on what I'm trying to fix and the current state of a person's body chemistry. So there are mutliple reasons glutamine could magnify headaches for a person, but you would first need to look at your chemistry to know that. I can only give speicigfic advice like that to someone who is a client and I know where their chemistry is. But if you download my book for free here: kickitnaturally.com/free it teaches you how to do that. Some years ago, I was told by a doctor after having a colonoscopy, that my stomach lining was very thin and in some areas nonexistent. I saw a naturopath after that who suggested I take glutamine but to take 1500 mg a day. He didn’t give me any additional information. And I was worried about my stomach so I took it gratuitously After about a year or two I was experiencing extreme, insomnia and panic, anxiety, even paranoia, and just all around severe state of stress constantly. My stomach problems weren’t getting any better either. Somewhere along the line someone had told me that glutamine also converts to glutamic acid and into watch out for that. I did not know what that meant, but eventually realized I should stop taking the glutamine… Could you go into further depth, and explanation about How it affects people mentally? @@BIGTEX888-hh9ot I was taking 1500 mg, I think that translates to 15 g so you’re taking 3000 mg. That’s a lot. I was taking it for at least a year before I slowly declined mentally. Also, the gut heals rather fast as far as damaged the tissues. El glutamine does not operate on the mechanism of inflammation per se, so it does not help prevent flareups. It just helps heal damaged gut lining tissue. It can also help heal, bone breaks and tendon injuries, etc.. I don’t know if there’s a test for glutamic acid levels. But people with tendencies toward high glutamic acid may experience the problems that I did. I think it if it is taken in a short term and then a long break taken from it and then maybe take it again short term this can be helpful to heal injured or damaged tissues in the gut or elsewhere. just be really careful because it can be hard to tell while you’re in that type of mental state that you are having a mental imbalance.

Taken with meals or snacks, 2 to 3 hours apart while awake. Children-Use and dose must be determined by your doctor. Anxiety lead to the activation of the body’s stress response, triggering the release of stress hormones that have a catabolic effect such as cortisol and adrenaline. So I don't understand how anxiety and Tachycardia are associated with the anabolic (rest) state. Also, people with digestion problems and gut issues are people whose parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) is underperforming which leaves them in a permanent catabolic state of suspended digestion, resulting in problems like, low bile flow, low GI motility, hypochlorhydria and consequently IBS, SIBO, diarrhea and constipation. If L-Glutamine aids the anabolic state it should enhance proper digestion and GI motility and thereby solve problems like constipation. It's no wonder that there is a lot of conflicting information out there about L Glutamine.
@KickItNaturally
@KickItNaturally 5 ай бұрын
Hey Rick, you're right about a lot of this, but missing some info in some areas. This video about the anabolic imbalance could fill i some of those holes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZ3Zg6dvr5eZiac and this video that explains how that anabolic imbalance can lead to anxiety could help too: The biggest thing to remember is that most health issues have more than one possible underying cause, so you want to avoid pigeon holing people into imbalances or malfunctions just because they present with a symptom like anxiety or constipation. There is always more than one way to have those show up.
@Rick-zw7zv
@Rick-zw7zv 5 ай бұрын
@@KickItNaturally Thanks for your quick reply. Very interesting stuff and somewhat counterintuitive. So I guess it would be fair to say that in the anabolic state your ability to deal with stress and anxiety is compromised (like adrenal fatigue and low HRV?). I still think there is a large overlap between anabolic and catabolic symptoms. Insuline resistance can be thought of as a anabolic disorder as well, during more prolonged stress, high cortisol levels promote gluconeogenesis and inhibit glucose uptake in insulin-sensitive tissues. Would you recommend a person with diabetes (II), anxiety problems, nicotine addiction (low serotonin?), IBS, SIBO, insomnia, alternating constipation and diarrhea, to take L-Glutamine? I mean these symptoms put the person all over the map of catabolic and anabolic disorders.

Not that I'm saying this is the case, but Dr. Revici believed that certain types of cancers thrived in an overly anabolic state. So anything that was very pro-anabolic, like glutamine, could magnify those types of cancer. Check out the book, the Dr. Who Cured Cancer to learn more about his viewpoint.

Hi John, We avoid glutamine with our high blood pressure clients because it has the ability to slightly raise blood pressure. That is why it's so effective with so many issues that go along with low blood pressure. It has other benefits as well, but that is a scenario where we avoid using it until we can fix the cause of the high blood pressure. It is pro-anabolic, which has the ability to help SOME of the possible causes of high blood pressure. But still, we usually fix the underlying cause before implementing it if blood pressure is already high.
