Just ordered one . When I was a kid, everyone had a fountain pen and I miss them now after 60 some years - nice to see one that still has a method of filling from a bottle which was how mine filled - although we use to squirt the ink at each other when we were in school - lol. Your writing is lovely - thank you for this review

Hey man can you tell me if it works on like normal student type paper? Because she is probobly using some fancy only for fountain pens paper.I would like to use it in shool with normal cheap paper, does it featger or bleed through ?

@@waldeksobolewski5325 works on any paper you want and does not bleed through - the ink is just ink - and the pen's nib works just like a regular pen - cheap paper, cardstock, loose leaf, printer paper , have used them all with this pen and it works great - and I've had mine for over a year now and still love it!

Great review! I found this after having this pen for a few months. I love this pen, it's one of my favorites. I use Noodler's Black ink in it and it is one of the smoothest pens I have. It's definitely a keeper. I'm glad to see others appreciate it as well.

I bought one a few months ago and loved it so much I bought another so I could use a different coloured ink in my art journal. I gave the first pen a rave review on Amazon Spain which for some reason they refused to accept?! I have tried again with the second pen but they still won't publish my review. So I thought I would review it here as these pens certainly deserve a credit.

I have a ridiculous hoard of cheap mainly Chinese pens which range from abysmal to excellent. I kept seeing this promoted on Amazon but there are very few reviews here on YT compared to other brands, but eventually took the plunge and ordered one. Though this also appears to be Chinese, I like everything about it so far in terms of presentation, construction, weight and balance. I'm looking forward to inking it up and seeing how it handles.

I love the pen. Their ink is a little hit and miss. I had some good cartridges in my box of 24, and some not so good. I'm pretty much sticking with the converter now and filling with Watermans Intense Black

I love purple ink. But the Waterman purple bleeds and feathers on paper I have no issue on when using any other ink, even other Waterman inks. Any suggestions for a good vibrant purple that's less bleed prone?

@@thewanderingvoice7349 Hello, I don't know if you still need a good purple ink but if you do I highly rate any of the purple inks made by Diamine. They have many inks, so I advise you to choose one that you think you would prefer. Diamine make super quality ink at an affordable price.

This pen is not bad for the price. Quit a number of decent pens of come out in the last few years that are modestly priced. I have to ask, what nib size do you usually use? You said that you purchased it for your child so I don't if use it as well. Your handwriting is very neat and quite sharp but is also very small. I would imagine a fine nib or maybe an extra fine for you style. Especially a Japanese fine nib. But hey, if you like I love it:)

I actually currently own 3 of these pens. I leave one at work and 1 to doodle at home and the third is for my daughter. I use i the medium nib. Currently thats the one the company carries. I am in a look out for the fine nib whenever they make it. This pen is really good for what it costs.

I just got this pen today. I am a Calligrapher and was looking for a nice everyday fountain pen. This was not it. It comes in fancy packaging but I wish it wrote as well as the packaging looked. Pen is heavy. It is not balanced. I have small hands but the grip area was even too small and slippery for me that it was hard to feel comfort in writing with it. The cap was the heaviest making it impossible to post and then write with it. I am returning it tomorrow.

It's to break the surface tension of the ink so it falls towards the nib as soon as it is held upright

Thank you for your video. Your voice & penmanship are lovely. I appreciate seeing a fountain pen reviewer who is a woman of color. The FP community often feels very white. When I fill a pen with ink, I use an old washcloth or hand-towel. It saves money and paper products and reduces unnecessary waste. That’s also why I prefer the converter & bottled ink. The cartridges just create more plastic waste, plus there are SO MANY beautiful inks to try.

I just got the pen...instructions impossible to read...too small, and doesn't come with PDF instructions when it indicated it would. Also this video doesn't address cartridge instructions...not interested in coverting. Also company has no website, or contact.

I’ve been very disappointed with this pen. It seems to clog quickly and easily. I used the converter and filled with De Artmentis Black and get almost no flow. I’ll stick with LAMY; more expensive but reliable!

Very bad experience for me with this pen not brand new clearly used scratch on top melt bubble around the edge not the same nib as the photos they showed and surprise no converter inside... They clearly say on Amazon they supposed to have included it.. what an hassle to return all of that... Skip that pen if u don't want bad surprise and buy good ink don't use their cartridge

These really should come with instructions. It is rediculous that they do not. I thought this was supposed to be a good brand. Very poor quality packaging
