I mean why would I care I had no clue you existed and obviously not why you stated it. Kinda only leaves us with 1 option here slick maybe you need to stop lying to yourself. 🙄

This is why whenever a student raises his/her hand and then puts it down immediately, I try my damnedest to get them to say what they were trying to say, and even if their input ends up being seemingly random or even straight up wrong, before I try to correct them I first try to figure out what their thought process was that led them there instead of just dismissing it, just in the off chance that they might have a point and I’m the one who couldn’t see it. Because I’m almost sure that those who are so hesitant to speak their mind are those who once upon a time were just shut down by a parent or teacher for an idea they had, and so they go their lives never sharing their ideas, and thus their ideas are never exposed to other perspectives and never have the chance to grow or evolve; they just stay within their heads left to reify.

gosh, i swear i hate motivational talks. But this hits home hard. There's something in the way Jordan Peterson delivers his speech. You don't feel the cliche you usually see in motivational talk. You see the passion, the sincerity, the humbleness and the desire to truly help other souls to move forward in the way he delivers his speech. And the speech is not only pure emotions, it has a bunch of logic & knowledge & evidence & fact in it so that's why you are so openly both convinced & motivated by him at the same time. He pours out his heart AND his mind into the talk. I am burning myself ashes to the ground, hoping for a transformation - working for a transformation and I swear I depend a lot on his talk to fuel my continued efforts. And gosh, it's painful but I know it will be worth it in the end. Thank you, Jordan Peterson, for literally saving my soul these days.

Write write write, in just the last 3 days my life has significantly improved, something about writing just feels magical, it's as if you're communicating with yourself and it works really type. Also, review what you write at the end of the day, don't just write things and throw it away. If you're planning a routine, don't try to come up with a perfect routine, plan a small part, experiment with how it goes and alter your plan accordingly and add more, slowly craft your habits, life feels like an art.

I have to agree with you others regarding why Peterson gets through to us, and it is that Yin/Yang, his ability to speak intelligently to both our brain and compassionately to our hearts as well. In another clip where he remarks on the loss to everyone when we lose our way, you hear the slight warble he gets because he passionately does care about every single person held back by a non existing wall we tell ourselves we can't climb. It makes me shake my head and smile to think he proves his truths just by his life. What threw him into the public eye could have made him one more taken down by other people's views of him. Instead it gave him a springboard to be able to reach out from that castle of intellectuals and offer his helping hands heart and head to the whole world. Thank you to the idiots behind the movement in universities to divide and demotivate. If life was chess, you queened the pawn that Peterson was, and he is doing the same for thousands more. It may not seem like it, but somewhere in all these clips, is his "checkmate". Or at least that is my hope. He has awoken the spiritual with the mental. Something we as a species has been struggling with from before written history.

God bless you, Jordan! You speak words of wisdom, often referencing Christ Jesus and our Holy Bible. There is so much peace and true wisdom to be had through the Holy Spirit. The crux of all of these issues for people is the lack of God in their lives. I liken the experience to working on a car, spending years working so hard on getting the right parts, only to miss the essential driving force - the engine. We can spend our whole lives pushing around a wonderfully made cart because it is not being used for its purpose. We are empty without the Holy Spirit. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." - Psalm 119:105 My hope is that everyone will find that peace and purpose in Christ. I pray that you will have a personal relationship with Christ soon.🙏🏼🧡💚💛🙏🏼

Hi it’s me again, I’ve watched probably all of Jordan’s lectures/interviews/debates. But, I honestly think that Peterson allows God (or the universe whatever you believe) to flow through him when he speaks sometimes. He listens to his subconscious the same way a fool listens to his environment. And out of all the times Peterson has allowed god to flow through him, this was his shining moment. All in one swing Jordan laid out the blueprint to rise out of hell. The path to love is through fear, and fear guides you towards your interests. I run my own KZbin channel and I use everything I’ve learned from Jordan along with my own personal experience to help others socialize/date/flirt/be in relationships and I hit a wall recently, and I keep hitting them. I even teach people to be the fool yet I was sitting there for a week not being able to even get up because i was expecting so much of myself. But I needed to hit the wall in order to improve the way I just recently did and this video in a way helped save me. It’s easily one of the top 3 most powerful things Jordan has said in one sitting. Thank you for your efforts and I’ll be watching you grow as I attempt to myself. I subscribed

I have “thrown the dice” many time in my life, sometimes I did stumble and the way the dice fell was a bit bruising, but overall the results were unquestionably great. I ended up traveling all over the world working as everything from baker, model, and company country manager. Now I am retired I find that it’s time to tumble the dice again, it never ends thank god. Jordan is an inspiration, heed his words folks.

I am a very conscientious man and my suffering came from not doing what I needed to do that I knew I needed to on a daily basis and stumble towards what I considered to be my ideal state of being. This man provided for me the necessary tenets to be able to change my mental framework and actually do what I needed to do.If you follow what this man says with deliberate and decisive action, you will inevitably improve. I started to effectively use my time learning and doing what I needed to do and OMG the difference my life has become is unimaginable.I can tolerate and be with myself.I can be proud of the man I am becoming. He knows what he is saying. Take the step and stumble forward towards the light. Its unimaginably better than frivolity, impulsive pleasures and the abyss of existential crisis.

Quote from JP If you stand still you move backward. You cannot stand still because the world move away from you if you stand still Matthews principles: to those who has everything more will be given from those who have nothing everything will be taken. It's a warning , do not stay in one place! That hit me like a brick in the face. Very powerful and thoughtful ! Thanks JP👍

He's a messenger from the light ! A being who's align his personality with his soul and only wants to shed some light and clear your head from all the negativity of this world . His message should transcend or at least put you back on track and understand the nature of reality which is multilayered !

Oh my god. I should of heard this from my father when I was 18. I’m 30 now I barely feel like my life is getting on track. I feel so behind for my age. I think having kids is a gift won’t get to enjoy. At least I’m striving towards a goal now. That keeps me going . Life is tragedy but at least is not hell anymore , best of luck to who follow Peterson’s advice.

Fun Fact: "The Fool/Trickster" is the first card in a tarot deck, often termed card number 0. It signifies infinite potential: for starting adventures, learning and so on... Overtime the fool can become anything, even the savior :) "The Joker" card known to us from modern decks is based on it, where it could be either the best or worst card, depending on how it's played and which game is being played altogether (this is the infinite potential).

Go towards the light. That is until you actually start seeing it. Then you will probably return to humdrum living. Albeit with a lot of uneasiness. And don't tell anyone about it because they will call you crazy or ignore you.

When I first watched dr.peterson it was the first time i had actually found someone who was like me, it makes me so happy to see that someone else is trying to help people find the passion and the joy in there life. If there's no drive, no want, no need, if there's no will to survive then what is there. Nothing that is, I truly wish I could meet mr.peterson and have a deep discussion about everything.

SO MANY people in the world, who are great followers of Jordan Peterson’s work, are now in my closer circles of personal connection, I’ve found it a shock when massive disagreements lead to cruelty among them. And yet, the way of going forward is a straight game, acknowledging one’s own faults, or at the very least being honest and trying to acknowledge. I think that’s also one amazing connection he has with Jocko Willink, being a leader to ones own self, first, and being thankful. So in spite of experiencing suffering, from my own actions and the actions of others, leading myself by envisioning the star and aiming at that, also “not doing to be seen by others” (one of 42 rules), positive things are now being seen.
