If you cleaned those two year old gloves I wouldnt be able to tell the difference, they look great!

project farm made a video on them and the leather was cut through after 5 slices, the fabric underneath needed 87 slices after that to cut through completely, it's way more cut resistant than you would expect

I have the two pair of the brown A3 gloves they are great probably one of the best pair of gloves I’ve bought in years.. Milwaukee has always been one of my go to brands for certain things and theses gloves are one of them.. I in the past bought the old Milwaukee millwright gloves full goatskin leather and cinched closed at the bottoms.. they are now discontinued… but theses gloves were amazing full fitting gloves that lasted me years through the end of my iron working career as well as my more recent light duty fencing and deck work and they work really well.. I added pinch snaps to bottom of the opening so I can wear them in the winter without snow falling in them and it helps secure them to your hands better.. I also have a secondary pair that I use the razor blade and cut the stitching out of the silicone padding and use them for more machine type work or milling work anything that has big moving parts basically. it just makes it easier to get your fingers in there without having the silicone padding in the way they work out great so far.. I’m definitely interested in getting some of these A5 padding for my next pair the price is the same for both so why not lol… great video thanks for sharing your advice and input on these gloves..

Ah, I was looking for a long-term review of these. Thank you! FYI: ANSI cut level A5 isn't the highest. It goes up to A9. A5 is seen as "medium to heavy cut hazards" and is the lowest tier at which it is no problem to handle glass without any chance of cutting yourself, as well as most blades (though not razor blades, I believe)

I didn’t realize it went beyond A5, that’s good to know. I am still using this second pair of gloves so they are quite hardy for what I put them through.

@@inkiron3907 Well, this video made me order two pairs of these. They aren't available here in Europe for some reason so I've ordered them from the US through eBay. There aren't many brands that have gloves that are made from real, non-synthetic leather (I prefer goatskin) and have a decent cut resistance level. Most of the ones above let's say A4 are made from some kind of synthetic fabric or cloth. I guess perhaps because if you want leather and cut resistance it needs to be two-ply, namely leather and a cut-resistant lining. That's likely way more expensive to manufacture. I just really like the feel, thickness and sturdiness of leather gloves though, so these Milwaukees are perfect. Ironclad does have some with the same properties and even some with a rating > A5 but they're even harder to get here. There's also some Mechanix models with those properties (they even have leather gloves that are level A9) but I've read really bad things about their quality. Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks for showcasing the sturdiness of these, it enabled me to make an informed purchase

i normally work with oils, grease, lube, etc....will the goat skin leather cause it to be slippery when in use?
