I have the Braun and I've been really happy with it. I have a few other slimbars( no name ones) and the Braun is like a Cadillac compared to the others as far as build quality goes. Very cool video!

They have since released another iteration of the Braun that has some higher end features. However, that also put this one at an even better sale price, lol. You really can' t beat it for the price, especially the sale price. The Icon one has been pretty good to me too. I wanted to release this a long time ago because the lights have been being in the Ram Revival for a few installments now, lol.

I bought a next brand double sided cob led light panels magnetic base aluminum folding work light from Amazon for $44 looks just like the new Braun version.., same time I grabbed the gearwrench 1/4 inch drive 51pc set. $47 shipped free shipping on the light as well..

Braun has a new version of the underhood led work light and I will probably get one after the first of the year..

I have the Icon 2100 lumen and 2 of the Braun 750 lumen lights and i like the Icon for sure but the Braun lights get more use and abuse and they are tuff little guys. Used the Icon for a half day camp out and it is bright and charge and run time was excellent. Great video thanks for posting!

Thanks and thanks for the info on the Icon version. I had every intention of buying that with the hood light when it was on for $69 (that makes the hood bar basically $15), and then waiting out for a sale on the stand alone light for an el-cheapo setup. The hood light is up to $90 something now...hoping it gets put on sale again. The ability to slide the (2) lights would be ideal for the various sized hoods and areas I work in. I agree though, these are great little lights. They have become my go-to.

I have the Braun noticed the short battery life so I purchased two extra batteries and a charger from Amazon

For us, 500-750 lumens is great, anymore and the reflection starts to hinder your visual under the vehicle or hood. Higher lumen flashlight is a different story as it is directional (tighter spot beam) for those deep dark spaces for inspection.

The Astro stand up work light with the dimmer switch wheel I've seen several people who have it and the comparable Capri version most people have no complaints I have heard two people who also complain about the dimmer

9:32 just get a new 18650 battery cell for it, it will function like brand new again. Just buy from a reputable brand like Samsung 25r, Samsung 35e, LG or many other good brands.

i use the maxxeon workstar cyclops mxn00811 is the best light i have had so far (and its green) price is about $36.00 has 3 brightness levels and magnetic base. 720 lumens for 2 hours, 360 lumens for 4.5 hours and 180 lumens for 10 hours. the run time is awesome. i would recommend to anyone, its a really good durable light

I'd never heard of it...pulled it up and it almost looks like an elongated version of the Astro and Braun. I do like that it is available in orange, lol. I can find this same design in orange, but they charge 2-3x what you can get the Astro/HF version for and I can't justify shelling that much out just for the color.
