A lot of dudes who are unfortunate looking in the face and don't workout, try to hide behind designer stuff. I dress like a square, my pants aren't sagging. Most of my shirts taper to my build now that I lost so much weight. Depending on the material I can wear between a medium and large in shirts at 203llbs. My pants are regular-cut (straight) in terms of design style, not loose or skinny. My shoes I spend more money on like Yeezys since they're comfortable and can be interchangeable w/ most outfits. Nobody does the whole colors gotta match stuff anymore. Overall, I make the clothes and shoes work for me b/c I'm in them. This one African dude who owned a clothing store I worked for back in college told me "you make everything look good" and he was right. I can make cheap seems expensive b/c of how I look in anything I wear.

I'm 23 and I remember talking to a girl in high school saying the same thing. Imo it doesn't matter the brand as long as the shoes are clean and in good shape and at least somewhat go with your outfit. Clean 40 dollar walmart/ross/ Payless shoes are better than busted up Jordans

I’m glad I was bought up in the dmv especially Maryland & been more into dc as younger kid around my aunt I learned the importance of “drip” befo I had the money to even buy the clothes now I moved to South Carolina inna country & it’s like I get looked at as a celebrity when I think it’s normal but then I look around and as my grandma says “people don’t have no style down here” so style can open up opportunities to where it’s hard to not get jobs when u go to interviews

Went to a place of worship and when my wife wasn't around, a married Becky barged into a convo i was having with her husband, interrupted us to complimented my socks said she'd never seen socks like those in her life and asked in front of her husband (mulatto ninja) where i got them from . He was so embarrassed and so was I so i replied "here and there online". She looked pissed i didn't say. I thought it was the strangest compliment i ever got for someone to notice my socks 🧦. What does that mean brothers?
