I feel the same way with being wasteful and food. Last time my apples were close to going bad, I cut them up and froze some for smoothies and cooked some with brown sugar to put on top of oatmeal.

Have you tried looking into a desk treadmill? I bought mine about a month ago and I love it. I started with two miles a day but now that I am used to it can do from 4-5 miles a day. As someone that has busy periods as well it is hard to meet my step goals and this has helped so much. Right now I just prop up my keyboard and mouse in a stand but my next investment will be a standing desk.

I used to have one but gave it aways to a family member that needed it 🥹 honestly in my small apartment there wasn’t a good place to store it, without having it feel like clutter and I hate clutter! But hopefully whenever I move to a larger place I’ll get one again! Wow 4-5 miles, what is your step count goal??
