Learning how to work the register is easy in my opinion because the computer/register screen prompts you through every step through instructions on the screen . After my first day of training I pretty much had the register down pack.

Wait, how did you get an interview because I applied, and the next day, I got an email saying I didn't meet the requirements like the application didn't mention to add any skills since my application was through a Ai telling me fill out these questions if am I over the age of 16 and when I am available etc like any any tips will be helpful I am in a rush for a job

I believe you’ll get it . The questions are very simple to answer! Just take your time and do practice interview questions beforehand!

It all depends on your stated availability , if the store is not already too saturated with cashiers , and how good you are at your job . If you show yourself to work really well on the cashier , they’ll most likely offer more hours to you💗

I worked closing shifts a few times. It wasn't bad at all , the business just gets slower as it gets closer to the closing time. So it can get kind of boring , but you'll have more time to recover and get the store cleaned in time to leave.

Hi! I did the interview already, and they say that I have to do a background check and that I will get an email, I sound dumb asking this but what is the background check process like?? I'm still waiting for the email.

Hi ! They sent me a form to fill out through my email and once you complete the background check form , they’ll send you the details of it and the rest of the paperwork if everything is good with the background . The background form was really simple !

Hi! I believe the position can be chosen during the application process ,or they might have a specific role listed for the application that they posted. I applied for the register position. It really is easy to get the hang of though !

What if you dont have a ID Yet? Will they accept a basic form of proving my identity like a birth certificate 😭😭? And since i cant set up a bank account until my dmv appointment with the ID, you can cash out checks there right?

Hi , I don’t believe they pay with checks , but if you don’t have a bank account , I know you also have the option of a pay card that your earnings will be deposited to. You should call ahead of time for the identification question , im not totally sure on that one .

Hi ! Whenever I was setting up my payment method they offered me two choices , either set up direct deposit with my bank account or choose the pay card. So they should offer it to you when you’re filling out initial paperwork.

I had my first day Wednesday and we got a lady timing us hard core but we were like 7 mins ahead of schedule so it was cool but yeah it’s a lot more work then you think and our store is smaller so only like 5 of us doing it

At my store we get a 10% , but around Christmas time we get a 30% for a few weeks .

Hi , I believe I applied through indeed and it took me to the Burlington site . I don’t remember seeing any requirements . I would think it would be just the basics.. 16+ , U.S. citizen ? I would say try again without Ai ?

I believe they just can’t work more than 5 or 6 hours without a 30 minute break , and maybe not past a certain time on weekdays.
