She has a legitimate point. If you take away the laws, that would only benefit the employers, who could fuck over their worker’s lives with no consequences. The employees on the other hand depend upon their wages, so they’re actually more obligated to work during the purge because their bosses can fire them for literally anything. Thank god we don’t have a system of laws that already exploits the poor for the benefit of the rich.

@@12DaanieWell, sadly, the store does not suffer loss due to theft. It is the local area that feels the pinch. As it is the local council that agreed to deals and write offs for stores to come in and set up shop. All in hopes that the tax wavers end and the local area racks in that tax money from the store. Yet, if that store keeps getting robbed or people steal goods from it. The company can look at it. Weight the cost of pulling out. And generally, they pull out. Leaving the local area holding the debt and a massive empty building. All because the company found a loophole...called the local community didn't uphold their end of a safe and profitability location.

Actually you would be correct. They had several survivalists and government officials or at least former government officials say. Should say who all agreed that in a real purge 90%? A. People who had houses. We just barricade themselves and for 12 hours and now they're 10% would be on the streets and pretty much would be killing each other off or trying. To find some place safe until the purge was over so Hollywood realistically. Hasn't wrong because if there's a real purge in people know about it? People are. Going to just shut everything down for 12 hours.

Yeah some suburb dad would be pissed some dude in the next neighborhood gRAPED and killed his daughter, but if he doesn’t kill him on Purge day then he has to wait till next year otherwise he will get arrested. So I feel like every year purge becomes á revenge day against ppl who murdered or harmed them from the previous purge day. Likely if a rando they don’t know harmed them then they will just hurt some rando too to feel good. Giving off the idea of hurt ppl hurt ppl. But yeah over like 1-3 years too much hate and revenge would be in the population that a civil war would break out and the whole idea of the purge would fall. He was a guy in his 60s-70s even called corporate infront of my boss to yell at them for abusing their hard working employees by not allowing them to reap the reward of their hard work. As kinda a back story to why he was that upset his knee gave out while he was shopping and i caught him before he hit the ground (pure luck on that one) and because i wanted to avoid a lawsuit if he did end up hurt (even though we shouldn't be liable for his disability) i walked him around the store after getting him an electric cart helping him get his groceries and went to his car to load his items. Management was pissed at me for getting them yelled at.😂 Like b*tch i didnt come up with the policy y'all did.

Funny enough, The Purge series (especially after the first one) are pretty direct with the fact that most people don't participate in the murder and looting. The First Purge shows that the government of that world has to send in mercs to create and record the violence as a way to make the experiment look successful. The series itself shows that people with power and money will usually use this day to act out their fantasies since there's nothing left for them to "want", much like how in RL the same people can't stop making their bank accounts go up even beyond what they can spend in multiple lifetimes.
