Work From Home. Remote Working. Working from home.
Since 2020 turned our world upside down working from home has become the sole method businesses have used to keep themselves and employees afloat. Working from home was just a dream of many last year, but 2021 is showing everyone that the work from phase is not just a phase. Companies found out that this method works, keeps employees working and is a pretty cost efficient method. So more companies are making working from home a permanent fixture in their business. As a current work from home employee I want to share the truth about working from home and all that comes with it…the good and the bad! So before you jump on a work from home opportunity in 2021 watch this video to get a inside look at what it’s like!

Girl, I totally agree with you saving money on gas, avoid toxic micromanaging bosses, and like you said having time to take care of things at home without being so tired and frustated that's so me. I'm thinking about starting a work from home job compared to a regular job too much stress😡😲

Yes with work from home, I would say still dress for work and during breaks or when getting off go in another room and close the door. It gives a sense of you leaving work, otherwise you may want to leave and go for a drive everyday to feel like you are off work.

I like it during the day when I’m home alone but absolutely not if my husband and child are at work. I literally have to lock more door to keep them out then every break they want to talk and socialize. Also they want me doing chores for them on my lunch so it’s a no for me.

In my past remote job if we needed help. There was app we had to sign in on and immediately send help line a message. If we didn't send anything in a certain amount of time we'd get points taken off our work performance. It was a horrible remote job. With so much micromanagement.

Currently looking for a WFH position, I might have to quit my job soon, because of COVID anytime my children have a cold they’re kicked out for 2 weeks unless they have a negative test or the cold is better/gone. It has me slightly depressed right now because I always don’t have anyone to watch them which leads to booking time off which isn’t always possible. Sorry for the rant lol
@JessicaJoelle
@JessicaJoelle 2 жыл бұрын
I definitely get it! 😩 My daughter was the sole reason I got a wfh position. She was born a month before COVID hit. But, if you have Facebook there is this amazing group called “TheWAHjobqueen” join that group and also visit her website TheWAHjobqueen.com she posts a lists of wfh positions every day except for Sunday. Major companies and independent companies. She post the exact link to the position too. But join the group as well cause she post links there that sometimes don’t be on the site. Just keep applying to wfh positions ONLY trust me (I know it could be hard to stick to that) and since that’s all you applying to that’s what you’ll get offered and next thing you know BOOM your perfect wfh job where you probably making even more than you thought...okay sorry for my rant as well 😂 just like helping where I can. I know it’s coming for you mama 🙏🏽

Is this a good job for an introvert? For the equipment, a mic and headphone set, do you think I could use a separate microphone and a regular headphone?
@JessicaJoelle
@JessicaJoelle 2 жыл бұрын
It’s perfect for an introvert. Minimal interaction in person but the phone calls may be slight overwhelming for an introvert, I’ve learned to tell myself once the call is over I’ll never speak to that person again lol it helps a lot! Also, most companies send you the equipment they want you to have but in the rare occasion they don’t most companies require a headset with mic attached to it. Hope this helps and Thanks for watching 💖

@Welcometothenow
@Welcometothenow Жыл бұрын
You can search for them yourself. Most companies offer WFH jobs. Oftentimes when you contact customer service, you’re speaking to someone from home. Use your resources and look for the remote jobs. Go to the company websites and look under Careers. It’s no different than applying for another job. I was recently hired to WFH, had my interview, and was hired on the interview. Use your resources and find your job.
